Directions
The Catholic church of Our Lady of the Portal and St. Piran is located in Truro, just off the Trafalgar Roundabout at the bottom of Tregolls Road, (the A390 from St Austell). Approaching the roundabout from the St Austell direction, go into the outside lane and take the fourth exit (by Halfords, onto St Austell Street. The church is the first building on the right, opposite Halford's.
There is a public pay and display car park 150 yards further along St Austell Street, on the left hand side. Pedestrian access to the church is up a set of setps from the pavement.
The church has a very small car park at the rear, reached up a steep road alongside the building, (St Piran's Close). Please note that (a) during services this is reserved for elderly parishioners and the disabled, and (b) the entrance to the car park is marked out with yellow hatching: this must be kept clear at all times, in case emergency vehicles need to gain access.
