Father, use our Mission

to pour out your Spirit upon your people of Truro. 

Grant us a new vision of your glory,

a new experience of your power,

a new faithfulness to your Word,

and a new consecration to your service.

May your love grow among us and your kingdom come,

through Christ our Lord.  Amen

Like Abraham, our father in faith let us put our trust in the Lord as we pray:

For ourselves that we will hear the voice of the Lord calling us back to Him and to repentance.

 

Lord, in Your mercy...

 

For the people of Chile, Haiti and all who have suffered natural disasters.   May the Lord give them the strength to overcome their difficulties and make us generous to help.

 

Lord, in Your mercy...

 

For world leaders that their voices will unite to speak out for the voiceless and their actions will seek to ensure justice for all and promote a fairer distribution of wealth.

Lord, in Your mercy...

 

For the sick and the lonely.   May they always be aware of God’s presence in their lives and be comforted by His love.

Lord, in Your mercy...

 

That this Lent we use the forthcoming Follow Up for our Mission to show the glory of God in this place by our witness and action.

 

Lord, in Your mercy...

 

For the Legion of Mary that it continues to be a spiritual support to those who are suffering ill health or loneliness.

Lord, in Your mercy...

 

Let us join our prayers with those of the Mother of God as we pray……..
